We are Blood is thrilled to team up with the Texas Stars to host a community blood drive on Saturday, December 20 from 10am-2pm. Donors receive a Texas Stars x We Are Blood rally scarf, perfect for staying warm at the rink and waving as you yell “STARS!” during the national anthem.
Each winter, we partner with the Texas Stars to host a mobile drive at the H-E-B Center. As another great hockey season is underway, we are excited to be back again to meet the community blood supply needs during the holiday season.
Drawing blood doesn’t have to be a double-minor
This year, we have seen extraordinary growth in patients’ need for blood transfusions at hospitals across Central Texas. Our community partnerships like this one have played a crucial role in ensuring local hospitals are able to meet those transfusion needs – helping to maintain a steady blood supply, and inspiring community members who may have never donated before.
