We Are Blood partners play a vital role in our community and contribute to our mission in countless ways, hosting blood drives, providing donor incentives, organizing volunteer teams, and offering financial and in-kind support. WAYS TO SUPPORT
Promotional Partners: If you’ve donated with We Are Blood before, you may have received a small token of appreciation for your donation. This is all thanks to our business partners who support our monthly donor giveaways, including Amy’s Ice Creams, Alamo Drafthouse, Thundercloud Subs, Tiff’s Treats, Whataburger, and many more!
Special Event & Drive Partners: Some of our largest drives are held by community partners far and wide. We’ve been out and about with KVUE, at Q2 Stadium with Austin FC, Dell Diamond with Round Rock Express, and HEB Center with the Texas Stars; we’re also spending time in Lakeway Community, Pflugerville Library, Bastrop’s Film Alley, and around other parts of Central Texas.
Campaign Partners: During holidays and the peak of summer/winter, we tend to see a drop in blood donations. That’s when our local hospitals, regional first responders, non-profits like Austin Humane Society, Central Texas Food Bank, TreeFolks, and Greater Austin and Central Texas YMCAs step up to ensure our community blood supply is stable.
Stewardship Partners: Because we ask so much of our volunteer donors throughout the year, some partners help us provide extra special giveaways or host mini events that are purely gifted from gratitude and bring our donors together to celebrate one another.
