The summer can be especially challenging for the community’s blood supply. With school out and summer escapes, donations can drop. This is one reason we are very appreciative of our summer partnerships. We Are Blood has been fortunate to partner with Round Rock Express across the seasons, hosting blood drives at Dell Diamond and offering guest passes as incredible thank-you gifts for donations.
This season, we are honored to take our partnership one step further, as we were selected by the Round Rock Express and the Nolan Ryan Foundation’s Community Spotlight.
A Winning Team
The Express Community Spotlight is a program aimed at recognizing local charities at Express home games throughout the season. Each home game recognizes a different community non-profit, creating opportunities to educate, advocate, and celebrate that organization during the game. Teaming up for the Community Spotlight is a wonderful opportunity to not only inspire new donors but celebrate the life-changing impact of our current donors and volunteers.
In addition to shoutouts during the game, We Are Blood can fundraise through ticket sales. For each ticket purchased, a portion of the proceeds benefit We Are Blood!
