Ready or not, May is upon us and so are those early summer vibes. We sure hope you’ve got your sunglasses ready, because the future is looking BRIGHT over here.
In fact, the Bloodstream’s summer schedule is booking up super fast and we cannot wait to see how the season unfolds. It’s going to be busy, but boy, is it going to be fun! BUT FIRST: Calling all mamas (and non-mamas)… okay, you got us, CALLING EVERYONE.
Our BFFs at Sugar Mama’s Bakeshop are seriously the sweetest. They’re showing off their support of our local blood by supporting local mamas with CUPCAKES.
Okay so, the cupcakes are technically for everyone who donates or attempts to donate at one of our donor centers on Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 13). Only our North Austin and South Austin donor centers are open that day, so swing by becaue we’ll be drawing folks together from 10am to 3pm. You can make an appointment or just drop in. We’d love to celebrate with you, and we don’t want to have to eat all the delicious cupcakes by ourselves!
Memorial Day MAYhem
Well… Memorial Day won’t really be MAYhem (we hope), but the May puns just keep coming and we can’t stop ’em.
For those of you who can’t make it on Mother’s Day, how do you feel about kicking off your summer in the sweet, sweet A/C of one of our donor centers? We’ll be ringing in summer throughout the Memorial Day weekend with some delicioiusly cold, deliciously sweet treats that are sure to help you beat those summer blues before they start (wait, are summer blues even a thing?).
