Mall Mania for the 4th of July

Posted: Jun 29, 2018 | Category: Latest Articles

You know, the summer season really is pretty great. School’s out, people seem a bit more relaxed, and even though it’s a scorcher outside, the overall vibe just tends to be better.

The kicker is, often, summer means we see fewer blood donors than we need to keep up with what our local hospitals need. We need to see at least 200 donors each and every day — and during busy holiday weeks (like Independence Day), we have a hard time getting people to come visit us.

That’s why we try our best to make blood donation as easy as possible by hanging out in places you already are, even on the 4th of July!

So that means… we’re heading to our local malls! If you find yourself begging for some air-conditioning next week, well, you’re in luck. Not only will we be open at our donor centers all week, but we’ll also be setting up shop at Lakeline Mall and Barton Creek Square. We really hope you’ll come visit.

Think about it: you can do something good for our community AND get a nice, cold blast of A/C at the same time.

Here’s where it get’s better: anyone who donates (or even attempts to donate) will receive a FREE Alamo Drafthouse movie pass!

Are you really gonna say no to that?

Here’s the low-down:

Lakeline Mall Blood Drive

At Lakeline Mall, we’ll be stationed INSIDE the mall, on the lower level, in front of the Macy’s.

Barton Creek Square Mall Blood Drive

At Barton Creek Square Mall, we’ll be stationed INSIDE the mall, on the lower level, in front of the Macy’s.

You can click on the date above that works best for you to see more details or to make an appointment. Remember, walk-ins are welcome too!

We really hope to see you over the holiday week.
