BECOMING A MONTHLY PLATELET DONOR IS EVEN MORE REWARDING!
Platelets have a short shelf life of 7 days, so there is a constant need for these life-saving donations. Platelet donations go directly to help local patients including: cancer patients (both pediatric and adult), organ and bone marrow transplant recipients, trauma and burn patients, as well as pregnant mothers. The more often you donate platelets, the greater your local impact and the more rewards you’ll receive.

Monthly Two-Step Program
When platelet donors give twice in a month, they not only have access to the general donor giveaways, but they have the opportunity to redeem a special Platelet Two-Step reward for their donations.
Each month, platelet donors can access a different swag, package, or giveaway valued around $50. Talk about good stuff!
What’s new this year? We are shifting to online redemption to make the rewards process easier on the back end. You’ll still be able to receive all your extra rewards, they’ll just be sent to you instead of you picking them up at a donor center. Tracking information will be provided, so you’ll always know the location of your item.
6×6 Rewards Program
But wait, there’s more! When you donate platelets at least once per month for 6 months in a row in 2026, you will be eligible to choose one of our amazing rewards offered only to our fantastic platelet donors.

What do I need to do to sign up?
- All you need to do is visit our centers and donate platelets!
Do I need to do anything to track my visits?
- We’ll have tracking cards that you can grab at your first visit to help you keep a record, but we will track your visits and communicate with you (via email) when you’ve hit your Two-Step or 6×6 goal. If you have any questions, you can always contact us at [email protected].
How do I choose which 6×6 item I want?
- You’ll receive an email after your sixth donation month that will allow you to choose which item you would like to receive.
When will I receive my item?
- Order and tracking information will be provided, so you’ll be able to keep track of your items.
What if I get deferred?
- An attempted donation and deferral will still count toward your goal. If you make the effort to donate, it counts!
Do I have to start the 6×6 in January?
- No, this program goes throughout the year. As long as you start your monthly donations by July, you will have a six-month period to complete in time to get a reward.
