A Rivalry with a Purpose
College rivalries are about more than what happens on the field. This November, the spirit of competition is fueling something even bigger: saving lives.
Texas Greek Life and We Are Blood are teaming up for the Texas Greek Blood Drive Challenge, a friendly competition between students, alumni, and supporters of the University of Texas at Austin and Texas A&M to see who can collect more blood donations for their community. The challenge takes place on Tuesday, November 17, and Thursday, November 19, giving participants the opportunity to make a lifesaving impact while helping their team climb to the top of the leaderboard.
Score Big for Your Team
Whether you’re a current student, alum, or dedicated fan, your donation counts toward your team’s total. The organization that brings in the most donors will earn the championship trophy and the satisfaction of knowing they made a meaningful difference for their community.
The Texas Greek Blood Drive Challenge champion will be announced during the highly anticipated UT vs. Texas A&M football game on Friday, November 27, adding even more excitement to an already heated rivalry.
As a special thank-you for participating, all donors who take part in the Texas Greek Blood Drive Challenge will receive an exclusive UT vs. A&M commemorative t-shirt. It’s a chance to show off your team spirit, celebrate your generosity, and remember the impact your donation made for local patients.
