Thanksgiving Week Holiday Mall Drives

Posted: Nov 20, 2020 | Category: Latest Articles

To celebrate the “giving” during the week of Thanksgiving, We Are Blood will return to Barton Creek Square & Lakeline malls and we have added a new location at The Arboretum. These drives are an easy and safe way to give back in this holiday season.

Although 2020 has been a challenging year, we are thankful for what the strength of the Central Texas community has done to support the 40 hospitals and clinics in 10 counties We Are Blood serves.

As an added bonus, we will be giving all donors at our mall drives a Torchy’s $5 “Taco Money” card and a voucher for free half chips & queso!

We Are Blood is currently testing all regular donations for COVID-19 antibodies. Results are typically available 7 days after your donation and will be available to view the results in your donor portal.

As we do most years, we’ll be setting up We Are Blood blood drives at Barton Creek SquareLakeline Mall, and this year we are adding The Arboretum location throughout Thanksgiving week. We hope you come and see us while you are shopping and to give a gift that could help save a life.

At Barton Creek Square and Lakeline Malls, the blood drives will be held in one of our bloodmobiles. The Arboretum location has been acting as a temporary We Are Blood center for several months and has been instrumental in helping us bring in needed donations in this unprecedented time.

During this season of Thanksgiving, give the gift of a livesaving donation to help local families and patients in need. It will definitely be something they will be thankful for.
