In April, we celebrate our amazing volunteers – those who dedicate their time, heart, passion, and energy to our mission.
This National Volunteer Month, we shine a light on the folks who lend their time, talent and energy to make a difference and build stronger Central Texas communities.
From assisting at blood drives and community outreach events, welcoming donors in the canteen, or supporting us behind the scenes, We Are Blood volunteers play an essential role in saving lives locally.
The Impact
Last year alone, our volunteers served over 12,881 hours with us, making a powerful impact through:
- 2,000+ deliveries of blood donations to our lab
- 41,228 t-shirts rolled
- 6,609 hours caring for donors in the canteen
- 472 hours engaging with the community
- 385 hours of office support
To our dedicated volunteers: thank you. You help keep us going. We are incredibly grateful for each of you – not just in April, but every day.
