Amplify Austin Day is the biggest online giving event in Central Texas. During a 24-hour period, Amplify ATX provides an easy and fun way for our entire community to band together to support local nonprofits like We Are Blood and their community initiatives.
During this year’s Amplify ATX event, We Are Blood is highlighting our partnership with Dell Children’s Medical Center and Central Texas’ first Pediatric Stem Cell Transplant Program. Our goal for 2026 is to raise $15,000. All funds raised through Amplify ATX will go to the purchase of a new Optia machine to provide therapeutic apheresis for stem cell collection, supporting the future of the Pediatric Stem Cell Program for Central Texas and allowing families to receive care closer to home.

WHY SUPPORT WE ARE BLOOD?
We Are Blood is the sole supplier of blood products to over 50 hospitals, medical facilities, and EMS agencies across our 10-county service area. Today, we provide 96% more platelets and 55% more red cells annually for local patients than we did just 10 years ago.
As part of We Are Blood’s multi-year strategic plan, Every Drop Counts, we are growing our capacity and investing in opportunities that will allow us to meet the growing needs of our community well into the future.
