America 250 Citywide Blood Drive

Let’s celebrate America’s 250th birthday together! Between June 20-July 5, a Pflugerville-based veterans’ organization is turning the milestone into a moment of community service. The Pflugerville Veterans Advisory Task Force along with multiple Pflugerville organizations are uniting with We Are Blood to host the America 250 Citywide Blood Drive.

This multi-partner initiative has a unified, overarching goal of reaching 250 blood donations in honor of America’s 250th celebration.

Across several days and nine locations, this effort is not only a great opportunity to support the community blood supply but is also deeply symbolic, because it’s a way to honor the blood that was given by service members in the armed forces who have fought for our freedoms.

This initiative also aligns with America Gives, the largest volunteer effort in U.S. history, aimed at setting a national record for volunteer service in 2026.

The timing couldn’t be more critical as summer is one of the most challenging periods of the year for blood supply since school’s out, routines shift, and donations typically drop as hospital needs remain steady.

Join the celebration and help ensure local patients are cared for by joining us at one of the many convenient blood drives across Pflugerville. Find a participating America 250 Citywide Blood Drive in the schedule below!
