We Are Blood is proud to partner with the Texas Stars to host a lifesaving blood drive at the HEB Center in Cedar Park on Saturday, November 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Individuals who donate will receive an exclusive Texas Stars and We Are Blood branded hockey puck, signed by a player!
“We are grateful to the Texas Stars and their fans who are helping to strengthen our community blood supply,” said Nick Canedo, vice president of community engagement. “Every donation made at our upcoming blood drive on November 11 will protect patients across Central Texas.”
With extraordinary growth in blood transfusion need across Central Texas, blood drives are an important way for community members to donate. The entire process takes about 45 minutes to one hour with the actual blood donation taking just 15 minutes.
